About Honoring Henry

On December 20, 2024 we welcomed our baby boy Henry Liam into the world. He was born at just over 23 weeks gestation, weighing 1 lb 4 oz.  For 2 weeks he thrived in the NICU, but at 2 weeks old he became very sick and we would soon learn it was because of necrotizing enterocolitis. We would only have 20 days with our sweet boy. On January 9, 2025 we lost Henry from complications of necrotizing enterocolitis. He fought so hard up until the very end. We want to honor Henry and try to save future babies from this cruel disease. Together we can build a world without NEC. Thank you to everyone who join us in supporting the NEC Society and remembering our sweet Henry.
