We want to see a world where NEC is eradicated. The loss of a child is something no one should ever have to experience. Although we lost our sweet Titus to NEC, we want to see a world where NEC no longer affects families.

Parker family, Titus touched many lives during his time on this earth. It is our hope we can help advance this cause so other families may be spared some of the heartache you have had to endure during this difficult time. Your little man was very special and many prayers have been spoken for him and your family. He won't be forgotten. Much love, Laura's work family

About #TitusStrong

On January 10, 2024, Titus Parker was born 3 months early at UNC Chapel Hill and was admitted to the NICU. On day 3 of life, Titus suffered a spontaneous perforation of his bowel. A week after his bowel perforation, Titus developed NEC. For 3 weeks, Titus fought hard against NEC. NEC started affecting his other organs, starting with his lungs.

On February 7th, 2024, Titus took his last breath and went to be with Jesus.Titus was such an inspiration to everyone around him. He touched many lives and inspired people to draw closer to Jesus.

Titus has inspired us to create a world where NEC will never affect another family like it has affected us. We want to build a world where NEC is eradicated. NEC is a horrible disease that does not get the credit or awareness it deserves. We are committing our lives to bringing awareness and research to the cure of NEC.
