About Grandparents Day - Holding Grandbabies in their Hearts

September 10 is Grandparents Day. On this day, we are honoring the grandparents whose precious grandbabies have passed away from NEC, as well as those supporting survivors as they live with lifelong complications of this devastating disease.

Grandparents' role in the NEC journey is too often overlooked. This day allows us to recognize their pain and the overwhelming support their provide to their families, and remind them that we hold their grandchildren's names in our hearts, too. 

We are working tirelessly to build a world where babies make it home from the NICU, healthy, and ready to be snuggled and showered with love by their grandparents.
